I never said that they did not have any relations before the fall - only that the Bible does not record any until after the fall. I just have to go with what the Bible says. Anything else is just pure speculation.

Don't know because God in His Word doesn't tell us. anything I'd say would be pure unmitigated speculation.

    For thought and consideration only.

Gen. 3:6 And when the woman saw that the tree [was] good for food, and that it [was] pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make [one] wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat,
Prov. 30:20 Such [is] the way of an adulterous woman; she eateth, and wipeth her mouth, and saith, I have done no wickedness.
Rest of Gen. 3:6 and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they [were] naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

I wasn't at all sure how to vote, so I didn't :) . The bible does give a set number of years that Adam lived, in Genesis 5.5, where we are told that he lived for 930 years, but that doesn't relate to the question, "How long did Adam and Eve walk about Eden before they sinned?"

I would have chosen "The bible doesn't tell us", but that wasn't an option.

10-14 days. Assuming God's plan (and the perfect environment of the Garden) would have led to a normal ovulation and conception of Eve in her cycle.

    Some variables enter in:

On what day did God make Eve?

Were women's cycles the same then as now?

Was it God's plan for Eve to become pregnant in that first cycle?

I have thought that it might only have been six days - representing the six ages of man's history until the King returns and the earth made into a "second Eden" with the rule of the "second Adam". Fanciful, and would not preach it.

Not less than 3 days ("all was good" on the 6th day, and God sanctified the 7th day) nor more than 130 years (age of Adam when Seth was born).

    My post he quoted from:

If tinytim returns my question would be from the passage from Prov. just what was this adulterous eating? Is her adultery associated with or called eating. I posted for thought and consideration. Maybe eating is used in the same way in the Gen. passage. Of course that would open up a big,big can of worms. Then my first post appears to have happened very soon after this eating.

    My first post.
    We may be surprised. I find it interesting that as soon as they ate of the fruit they realized they were naked and were ashamed and that the curse was I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception;

Was she at that moment pregnant?

Adam and Eve could of walked the garden for a million years and not of sinned. The devil could of tempted them daily, but they could of still kept their eye on God for a very long time. Then again, it could of took two minutes after Satan whispered to Eve.

No, they couldn't have. If they walked around for a million years, then they walked around or a million years in disobedience to God's command to be fruitful and multiply.

So when God said, in His word, that Adam lived 930 years, you think God lied? He might have lived 1,000,930 years? Do you think God lies a lot or just this once?
