Every time this man's name is mentioned, either a thread is derailed or name calling starts. There is nothing edifying about Rush Limbaugh. He stands for the exact opposite of the fruits of the Spirit. For liberals, he is a lightning rod for meanness, for conservatives, he is a pathetic standard. This man's destruction transcends the liberal-conservative debate, in fact, infects it.

The solution to Rush Limbaugh is the off button. Why is he made so important? He is about the same level as a Hollywood star. Any power he has comes from his listeners and the adveristers they support.

By the way, for the lunatics that think this is a liberal post, my votes have gone for Nixon, Reagan twice, Bush twice, and Dole over the last several elections, oh yes, and McCain, although he was quite liberal in his own right.

Any issue could be discussed with intelligence without this name being interjected.

Administrative counsel please consider a ban on any discussion of Obama. He is an abortion loving lair and he is trying to convince the American people that his financial package is a stimulus. No good can ever come from any discussion involving him.

Carpo who would you like to ban from all conversations. I mean since we are creating a wish list and all. Because you know that the admins are going to take it seriously.

While I am not a Rush fan and don't listen to him except rarely, this made me laugh. SN complains that everytime his name comes up name calling starts and then uses the very next sentence to do just that ... Hilarious.

Yes, I am kidding. Pastor Larry needs a sense of humor. I will admit though, my humor may have been out of line. We were forced out of our house by the ice storm in western Kentucky, and I got really bored in the motel in Tennessee. Just about every tree is basically gone. Over half still without power. Cable, internet, and phone are not a concern now. Water in some spots has stopped. No gas, and very few stores.

It was a hard lesson to learn. I have been putting off buying a generator for years, and it came back to haunt me.

Sorry about the thread. Consider it closed.
