It is a matter of truth. Cause and effect. Creation is finite and temporal. So only had a finite and temporal cause regardless of causing agent. Which was God via the One with God as God. John 1:2-3. Genesis 1:1. The uncause Cause must be identified as the Son. John 1:2-3. Not to is against Persons in the Godhead.
    Uncaused is Eternal.
Cause is finite and temporal in order to have a finite and temporal creation.

That is a lot of speculation. Even if true that Jewish tradition only begins counting time since Adam was created on day 6, so what? Jewish tradition is basically of no value when we already have Scripture on the matter. God told us how He did it. There is no way to insert immense imaginary time into creation week. Why not simply believe what God says?

I and the Father are One Jesus said. God is the Son. Jesus is God.
