.....And it appears Gore had plenty of disciples at the gathering. According to The Tennessean, Robert Parham, executive director of the Nashville-based Baptist Center for Ethics, called Gore a "Baptist prophet." In introducing Gore, Parham said, "prophets are unacceptable because their truth is inconvenient."......

I read that too. Along with him being chosen as Baptist Of the Year by some oddball group, that was the funniest thing I've heard in a long time.

Although I disagree with the notion that he is a prophet, I really do like Gore. I didn't back in 2000 and voted against him, but I do now.

I agree that Gore is no prophet, but I like him anyway. I did vote for him in 2000, although the Supreme Court did not.

Nah, the folks at Westboro consider themselve to be conservatives.

He may be a prophet in the modern sense of the word as those who foretell impending doom.

I don't think he is a prophet in the original sense of the word as someone who speaks on God's behalf.

If he's such a prophet, why didn't he know the Senate would unanimously reject his Kyoto treaty?

I don't know what the big deal is, with all the money he's making off his speaking and appearances, all they did was spell profit wrong.
