All Dogs Go to Heaven: The Movie

    Have you seen this movie? Do you let your kids watch it?
    Should we be concerned that heaven and hell is treated lightly in these? There's even a song in the movie that says "It feels so good to be bad", and one dog in heaven sings "it's too heavenly here" as he longs to be out of it and works on finding a way to do so.
    Do you let your kids watch these types of movies?

    I forgot to add that the person enforcing the rules in heaven is a FEMALE!

    In that case, how about the movie Cats and Dogs? It was THE funniest movie I've ever seen in my life!
    I try to be very careful about what my kids watch though. I seriously didn't like some of the implications in "All Dogs Go to Heaven". They watched it at a friends house and I later bought it and watched it. While I didn't mention anything to her it's just one of those things I'd not like to get them on my own.
    I'm finding I'm a lot pickier than most people I know. Most people now know to ask me before they let my kids watch something, or before they buy clothes for a present they'll ask me if it's ok to have this or that logo on the clothes, or this or that style of clothing or shoes. LOL

    Oh I like Cats and Dogs! That is so funny! We've watched it a few times. What about 'My Dog Skip?' Did you see that one? It's with the kid from Malcolm in the Middle. VERY sweet!

    Well, the movie "Old Yeller" is outlawed at our house. I'm much too sensitive to deal with it. I guess you know what other movie we won't be watching....

    Since it's just entertainment that kids don't really pick up anything from anyway, why not them watch amusing little cartoons about fornication, homosexuality, abortion, murder, etc. ?

    OF COURSE what we watch affects us, that's why there's commercials and worldly kids programs filled with feminism, environmentalism, etc. The world understands this, we should too!
