They would have allowed the unsaved to keep doing that if they wished, but would have also proclaimed Jesus as the true Lord to them also!

I guess my point is that it was not up to the Christians to allow the Romans to worship false gods. What we should asking is not if Christians should allow the freedom of others to worship but whether or not it should protect such freedoms. That is my question.

Can you show in Scripture where Christians are commanded to protect the freedom to worship as one deems appropriate?
Is there a passage or instance where Christians are called upon to defend pagan worship?
