In the history forum, I had a thread about amendmens awaiting approval.

Rippon listed some he would like to see:

(note: I added the nubers in the quote above for

    1- fully agree
2- I would re-word so that it would not be confused with the milita - also I understand about felons - but should something be said about the mentaly retarded?
3- Amend the 14th to "Upon conception" In addition - the 14th should include that Citizenship in not automatic unless at least one parent is a citizen. (IOW - no anchor babies) also specify that children born of American overseas on offical duty ( miilitary, ect - are considered full citizens)
4- I would use caution - execption should be granted for declaration of War, ect.

    ***************************

What other admendments would you like to see?

Candidates for Federal office need to provide official documation of citizenship and age to the FEC.

A principal here in Houston was put on leave for making a rule that English be spoken in class because of the Spanish speaking in class. Not all Americans can speak Spanish but do speak English. I know the first thing they cry is "discrimination" instead of facing the fact their being rude and self segregating from others. I think if English is not pushed as our main language then the curse that was on the tower of babble will be us as a brave Principal tried to stand up for it and was discriminated for it.
