    Hello everyone,
We have a missionary in Cuba who has left the country because of fear of deportation. The word I'm receiving is that all SBC missionaries have already been deported (we're not SBC, but that's what I'm hearing).
Castro is mad and thinks missionaries are somehow linked to the CIA.
Has anyone else heard about this? I've not heard anything else about it, so I'm wondering if I'm getting correct information.
    Thanks for any input,
    Joe

What is the U.S. State Department's view on missionaries in Cuba? I know that Americans are allowed to visit Cuba (if approved) for the purpose of humanitarian aid. I did not know there were permanent missionaries in Cuba.

I personally think we should nuke that country off the map, their rejection of the gospel and castro's satanic mindset have caused this country more grief than it's worth, nuke 'em I say, them, Iraq, Iran and the the rest... nuke 'em all and let God sort 'em out.

Castro has rejected the gospel, but not all the people there have. There is a network of national pastors there, too, conducting "underground" churches.

That would be fine except for the fact that there are two baptist churches that my previous church supports in Cuba!

There are Christians there that are on fire for Christ... more on fire than here in America!

And the ABC-USA does have missionaries there.

I know a fellow (shall remain nameless) who goes a few times a year and visits churches. He brings back lots of stories about "Christians" doing right there.

    Shiloh,

I know a fellow who does that as well. We just heard him at our church. He was very enlightening.
