As GOP House members continue their protest this week on Capitol Hill, Americans who have had the opportunity of joining lawmakers on the House floor are speaking out about their support for Congress passing a comprehensive energy bill, including offshore drilling.

They’re also expressing disapproval of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's (D-Calif.) decision to adjourn the House before an up-or-down vote on a plan could occur..........

As long as the Democrats don't get to inject a lot of cruft into the bill, and as long as it completely stays on subject, I will be all for it.

The last thing we need is a bill that allows for offshore drilling and implements a universal health care plan.

Although I think we do need a universal health care plan, I don't think this would be the way to get it.

You can bet if any bill that includes drilling comes up for a vote will be minimal and wll include some socialist bill.

And I'm sure you like long lines, long waits, and high prices from overwhelming demand too.

By the way, do you favor or oppose an offshore drilling bill?

Boggles the mind that anyone would think that offshore drilling would lower gas prices in the USA.

First, it isn't "our" oil once it is leased.

Second why should the oil's new owner sell it for less than market price?

Third, why should your gas station sell you gas for less than you are willing to pay?

It is a known and undisputable fact that when more product is on the market the price gets lowered.
