    They are AAA, currently affiliated with the Pirates.
    Their main rival isn't too far from you, the Toledo Mud Hens.

    The last two years have been the same, they start up strong, but then since Pitt is relatively weak, they get lots of call ups while the strong Tigers ( TOledo's parent club) Don't need as many and leave more players down.
    Just a theory but it would explain why INdy starts the year stong only to be passed by Toledo each of the last 3 years.
