    Hi Neal,

You wrote, "As neither can you."

Of course I can't; that's why I'm a Catholic - because I accept both Scripture and Tradition because I recognize that Scripture needs to be interpretated according to the rule of faith, which is a term St. Irenaeus of Lyons coined in 180 A.D.

The best I can do is to pray for God to reveal those things that I am wrong with and lead me into His truth, as in fact I do.

I acknowledge that, and I deeply respect your efforts. I too have this same disposition, while simultaneously adhering to the apostolic Magisterium, Sacred Tradition, and Sacred Scripture, which I see as inseparable in the life of Christianity.

And I feel no inkling that the RCC is totally His truth.

The Church isn't to be equated with divine revelation. The Church is the depository of revelation, its guardian, and its expositor.

You can try to make it look like I am some cavalier rebel

I apologize if that is how it appears that I am coloring your situation; I do not intend to paint that picture.

That is okay. I just want you to know that I am deeply concerned with truth. We all have desires and preconceived notions that we bring to the table, I do not deny that. But, like you, I am concerned with discerning truth. I just want to make that clear.

    Blessings In Christ,
    Neal

    Hello 3AngelsMom

Are you a Shepherds Rod, or Branch Davidian?

    Sorry for the wait 3AngelsMom.

I really have to much going on to converse on this board. I pop in now and then to see whats up, and end up writing something when I know I shouldn't, since I probably won't have the time to continue the discussions.

In any case, we have a Shepherds Rod visiting our Sabbath school class, and he brought up the trinity thing a couple of times. I didn't really get time to ask him what it was all about though. I was just wondering if you were moving along the same lines.

    Sorry, hope I didn't offend.

Bye for now. Y. b. in C. Keith

We had some SR's in our church too for a while, but our head elder saw to it that they left. They were pretty disruptive, and would basically try to take over our Sabbath School discussions.

I don't really know what they believe in regards to a trinity.

You didn't offend, I was just wondering why you would think I was SR.

    God Bless,
    Kelly
