    Anchorage Daily News-www.adn.com prints satanic symbol of front page on newspaper… this is a big problem, what should be done about it…

    Wiccans fight to lift ban of their symbol on vets' markers

    Why do you consider this to be a "big problem", if they are simply reporting the news?

    It's a free country. They can print what they like, and you have the freedom not to purchase the paper.

    They are not promoting Satanism, they are doing a news story about a symbol, so they printed the symbol in the paper with the news story. If you notice in the links you posted, the Satanic Pentagram is upside down, the Wicca five-pointed star is right side up.

    Satanist also use upside down crossess as Satanic symbols, would the paper be promoting Satanism if they printed a story with a cross in it?

    Yes, Wicca is a false religion, but it is not Satanism.

    This is the American ideal of a free press in action. Here, if we don't like something in a paper, we can write a letter to the editor. In Islamic nations, they riot and kill when they don't like an editorial cartoon. God bless the U.S.A.
