    Know that some ifbX (extreme) hold to the KJVonly position, its supplanting of the originals, its perfection and infallibility, etc.

    Know of only a couple non-baptist groups that believe this odd new doctrine.

    Was wondering if anyone knew any ANGLICAN churches that held to a perfect, reinspired KJV? It is THEIR Bible after all, so would think they would be first and foremost on the bandwagon.

    I suspect that it's harder for mainline Protestant churches and Catholics to hold those views. They have bishops who tell them what to believe.

    And some others have preachers who shout stomp and spit while at the same time are prone to exaggeration.

    And some ifb'ers have "big name" pastors or schools that they DARE NOT OFFEND and if they say "XYZ is true", then you had sure as tootin' agree or you are in b-i-g trouble, mister!!

    Baptist popes/bishops. And we will be happy to take names and kick backsides . . . [​IMG]

    Doesn't really matter when the state church can mandate an official version by act of Parliament. [​IMG]

    Although it's interesting that there's no record of any such act, or royal proclamantion, or any other formal approval of the use of the AV in the Church of England. Despite what its title page says, it was never "appointed to be read in Churches" . . .
