I don't know if she was saved or not, but I can see the fruit she was producing.

    1. After that tape, she went on to have a baby and no one knows who the father is.

    2. She had not spoken to her mother or any of her family for over 10 years.

    3. She was taking numerous types of drugs.

    4. She was cohabitating with a man while 'sleeping' with many other men.

    5. She was a drunk.

    6. She was all about herself. I don't see much room for Jesus in her life.

    7. She was selfish. She left her baby without a home and three people fighting for custody of her. She didn't even designate the father.

    8. She looked high on 'something' on the tape. She couldn't get her thoughts together.

    9. She stated on the tape, "If you have Jesus, He makes you happy." Obviously, she was not happy when she took her own life, and hadn't been for some time...

    RE: Anna Nicole Smith

Well, for me to say she is in paradise or hell, would be wrong. I do n't know for sure where she is right now, but I would not expect to see her in heaven. That being said, I do not know what her last thoughts were, so I will let Jesus judge her, and not me. But, if I go on solely what I have observed, it really doesn't look good for her. Remember, Jesus said that not everyone who says "Lord, Lord" will enter into heaven, only those who do the will of God. Does anyone honestly think she was doing His will? She had a baby out out wedlock...a MAJOR no-no. She apparently abused prescription drugs, she did "things" with other women...another MAJOR no-no. Anyone can cofess Jesus with their lips as a form of "lip-service", but it's what is in the heart that really matters. It is not what goeth in that defileth a man, but what cometh out. Do you think she portrayed a christian life? Give this an honest and deep thought and you will find the only answer. I will leave it at that. May God bless you all is my humble prayer.

There really should be more choices in this poll. I can't vote for either.

In the interview, she didn't seem to be that sincere. She actually seemed to be "chemically altered", so anything she said may have been the result of that.

Having said that, we don't know if she was a believer or not. All of the talk about angels and stuff seemed like she may not have been, but I would never say she was not for sure. I hope I do cross paths with her and her son someday in Heaven.

I think we take Matt. 7:20 out of context sometimes, and read into it what is not there. It simple says you will recognize them by their friut. It doesn't say if you don't recognize them, they have never produced any fruit or they are not saved. I think if we were to walk through Sodom and Gamorah, and applied Matt. 7:20 the way we do, we would be back here on the BB saying that Lot had to have been a homosexual, and due to not seeing fruit was burning in hell today.

Helen, you are quite right. The Bible is clear on judging. Although some day we will even judge angels, but until then it is the realms of God. However, we are not forbidden to discern. In fact we are asked to do so. And most of the remarks in this thread gravitated toward that end.

Sadly it is true I Am Blessed 16. The Bible tells us that by their fruits we know them. And upon close examination of the late Anna Nicole Smith, we do not see any visible signs of that.

Yes, you judge Anna Nicole by her fruit, could you have done the same with Lot?

I don't get it. Lot left when he was told, Anna stayed in her own dung heap. Why compare them ?

Lot was basically dragged out, he didn't want to leave.

The entire point is what I stated initially. If one were to walk through S&G while lot was still living there, using the same basis of judging "fruit", we would never have know Lot was righteous.

Why would I judge Lot by the condition of S&G ? That city was wicked before he got there. And he did leave when commanded. Probably a good thing he could walk in a straight line when he needed to.

while lot prefered to live in s&g, we don't know a whole about him there. what we do know about anna is that she chose to be a playboy bunny, to use lots of drugs and alochol and have sex with assorted men. now show me in scripture where we can know lot did these, we don't really know, we can only speculate.

For her sake, i do hope that she really did make a commitment to the Lord at some point in her life, but fell away...but her lifestyle would suggest otherwise.
Not judging, but i'm just saying...

Scripture tells us more about Lot than you let on. He offered his daughters to be molested. He enjoyed living in an evil city. He was sorrowful to have to leave that city. We know he was selfish, looking out for his own well being. We know he got drunk. He committed incest. Quite a bit of info on him, from the Word of God at that and not tabloids.

Supposedly you should judge Lot's salvation by the same "fruit" you are judging Anna, not where he lived (don't know where you got that from).

I did not get the information I posted from a tabloid. I got it from the court proceedings that were on all last week. A media circus!

I'll judge Lot by what scripture says about him. A man of God, who blew it bad, several times. But a man who's whole family found grace in God, 'cept when the wife looked back.

    And, you brought up S&G.
