Recently, in Polk County Florida a deputy was killed while pursuing a man on foot who was pulled over for speeding. It was all over the news. I am sure you saw it.
I was outraged when I read in this mornings Sunday Tampa Tribune that this scum (Angilo Freeland) was arrested in April 1999 for driving w/out a valid license, reckless driving, aggravated fleeing to allude, resisting arrest and carrying a concealed weapon.
Freeland failed to appear for a hearing in Nov. and a warrant was issued for his arrest. Freeland was never arrested and in March 2005 the Polk County state attorny's office dropped the charges as part of a regular review of cases that had "gone stale".
Now a police officer is dead.

The end result of that dead police officer is that Freeland never made it through the next day. He picked a gun fight with the police, Swat, and the national guard. He now has 86 holes in torso.
