Antinomianism

    Now can you see the necessity of true consecutive Bible exposition? Instead of darting all over the scriptures in these knight jump moves that some do. When you "expound" the scriptures, things will follow on "naturally", rather than us fitting them into our own beliefs.

    Although we are no longer under law but under grace, God still wants us to behave ourselves. Some people have the mistaken idea that since we're Christians, we can act any way we want: lie, cheat, steal, etc. But that is not true: For grace you have been saved through faith, and that is not of yourselves' it is God's gift. It is not by works, so that no one may boast; for we are His handiwork, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God previously prepared for us so that we should live in them. Ephesians 2:8-10 Modern Language Bible. :godisgood: :praying:

    HP: What about those presuppositions such as the universal constitutional moral depravity that some read into so many verses? Hmmmmmm. :)
