any Catholics here hold to the "Baptism of Desire?"

    As to the Lord sees the faith of non Christians as being meriting salvation, due to no fault of their own, not receiving catholic doctrines, so he would view them as would have been catholic if they had heard?

    That God will save based upon sincerity of their faith?

    According to the catechism: "Every man who is ignorant of the Gospel of Christ and of his Church, but seeks the truth and does the will of God in accordance with his understanding of it, can be saved. It may be supposed that such persons would have desired Baptism explicitly if they had known its necessity."

    So ANY person who is faithful to what their religion teaches will be saved by God?

    How can that be, when the Bible plainly teaches that unless you call upon THAT name of Jesus, are lost?
