    Shawn Mcdonald is great; he’s one of my favorite artists. His testimony is awesome. If you haven’t heard it yet, listen to his Live in Seattle CD. As far as artists go, one that might sound similar is Fort Pastor. I can think of some secular artists as well, but I don’t really listen to much secular music anymore. One would be Jack Johnson and probably Ben Harper as well. That’s the style of guitar I play as well. I’ve had a problem learning the licks that Mcdonald uses though. If I can think of anyone else, I’ll let you know.

    Warren Barfield might work as well; he's not a folk musician per se, but might be in that realm.
