    Yeah; is it because of the secular rap it is spoofing (I could understand this objection, as the original is basically about lusting at a womans body part), or just because it is rap, and who's doing it?

    Good grief nothing! Perhaps you weren't so unfortunate to hear the original trash by Sir Mix-a-Lot when you were growing up. Why would anyone want to hear lyrics about the Bible to the music that talks about someone's butt, being horny (excuse the use of this word) and sex. There is nothing God honoring in something like this!

    Isn't it amazing how someone can ask for your opinion about offensive humor ... and then not appreciate your being righteously offended ...

    Sometimes I am sad that God wants me to reach the heathens ...

    I will listen to a LOT of JUNK music that we CALL Christian ...

That doesn't mean that all rap is wrong or music straight from the belly of hell! How idiotic to say that. :rolleyes: There is nothing wrong with this song, that I see. It's funny that only a couple people (all on this page, imagine that) out of several that I have talked to about this song got bent out of shape about it. Because there is NO reason to. Most people aren't legalists thank God!! I wouldn't doubt these Christian rappers are more humble and more godly than some Christians that wear suits and dresses all week long. I'm glad God looks at our heart and not the outside of us. There is nothing that dishonors God with this song. Get over yourselves.

    Yeah, sad really very sad...

    Could it be that you listened to a different song than you asked us to listen to?

    If not - then - "Yeah, sad really very sad..."

    Alluding to the Word of God like a woman's body parts is sad ... very sad. I have come to expect that in pagan beer and cola commercials, but "Christian" music?

    Yes, I am glad God looks at our hearts too. We will see what our Lord saw as God honoring when we stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ.

    And please don't ask for people's opinions on songs if you can't take both sides. This is a DEBATE forum dear.

    Yes 'dear' I can take peoples opinions with no problem, when they know how to discuss issues. I like people that can think for themselves.
    It's the legalistic diatribes that I can't stand. ;)

    Ya know...this is totally not worth arguing over and certainly not worth name-calling. I gave my opinion and I am gonna leave it at that. I don't appreciate "Christians" who call other Christians "idiotic" or "legalistic" when they don't like an opposing opinion in a debate. Not once have I attacked your Christian testimony or character and I will not stoop to that level. Good luck El_Guero, it's up to you buddy.
