Anyone know of a free reliable vnc replacement that runs in vista and xp.

Just got it running with tightvnc and works great.

Sorry, not for vista and xp. Sourceforge may have a freeware or shareware VNC available for windows, but I'm not sure about cross compatible with vista and xp.

Vino and Vinagre seem to be a nice stable and free VNC server and client pair, but your looking at a debian based linux distro.

    -$: apt-get install vino

Tightvnc does nicely across platforms, not sure what it will do with windows 7 when the upgrade gets here :) At least I have a couple months peace before that bridge gets here

I use TeamViewer to remotely work on computers. I know it works in 7, Vista, XP, and 2000.
