New innovations from Apple, improvements to iPod, and a box to feed your flat-panel TV screen, wirelessly linked to your computer, for the movies or TV shows you can download at the iTunes store. Now get iPod games, including Pac-Man, Mini Golf, Tetris, and others.
Longer battery life, colors, brighter display, lower price.

iPod Nano has a smaller charger, and a clip for attaching to your clothing.

"So, you can download all this great content online
It's: Now playing on a computer near you
Now playing on an iPod near you
Coming soon to a TV near you
    Apple is in your den
Apple is in your living room
    Apple is in your car
    Apple is in your pocket."

    Funny.

Back around the mid-1990's when I was working on my bachelor's degree and wrote a paper on Bill Gates and etchics, Microsoft's slogan was, "A computer on every desk, in every home, running Microsoft Windows."

Apple has just expanded the same slogan a little, eh?

Here's a spot o' news you might have missed.

Seems AnandTech was testing out a Mac Pro. They had a couple of Cloverdale (quad-core Intel) samples laying around, and decided to pop them in the Mac to see how it went.

    Here's a link:

As I like to say, MS wants to own half of all the people.

Apple want's to own all of half the people.

IN case you don't get it, with MS they want to own the software part of EVERYTHING., But just the software part.

Apple doesn't want to own everyone, but the ones they do, they want to sell you everything, hardware and software. :)

Dude, how can you read what was posted in the original post, and say Apple doesn't want to own everyone?

And MS went into extensive licensing agreements with Intel and computer makers to ensure that when you buy a new computer off the shelf, it came loaded with Windows. That's not just the hardware piece; that's attempting to ensure that you can only run Windows, which includes hardware.

It's only been in the last few years, with the anti-trust lawsuits, that MS has had to back down, and that computer makers started offering systems loaded with other operating systems.

Apple is doing now, what they should have done 20 years ago: Marketing, advertising, and making a play for name recognition, rather than rely on reputation only. The only concern they should have is to not fall into the MS trap and start sacrificing quality for "domination," which is what this latest slogan implies.

Preceding has been simple conjecture by one whose opinion is worth less than snail slime.
