    how about neither!

I primarily use the Solaris Operating System, formerly SunOS, based on AT&T System V release 4 UNIX, which is based on Berkely Standard Distribution UNIX, which was not developed by either Apple or IBM, but has been adapted and developed by Sun Microsystems, which was started by a couple of guys one of whom I think also helped start Apple. Its not Windows, its not Linux, its not Apple.

I also use Windows 2000 Pro, because of certain applications that I need that do not have Solaris versions available.

Well...that may only last so long. It appears that Sun may finally give in and go Linux (Finally! If this happens, maybe they will stop crippling the Java VM on Linxu!).

Just get a PC card (cheaper than another box and can run windows withing Solaris). Or...convert to Linux and use Win4Lin or VMware.

I own 3 Macs and two PCs. Since OSX Jaguar came out for Mac and XP for the PC I think they are about equal thought I prefer the using my Mac. Prior to OSX I preferred a PC with Windows NT or 2000.
