    There's been an ongoing announcement of greater and greater discoveries lately that have, largely, been found out to be false.

    I've got a couple of archeologist friends who find this whole thing dubious. We'll see. Let the peer review work itself out. :)

    Agree with pj. Not sure how much of this is "new", how much can be historically "verified". I worked on a dig (Tel Dan) and Canaanite altar and much of what was "found" is still highly disputed.

    What is happening is Israel NEEDS Christians in the US to stay focused and supportive of them, especially as they reach across borders to try to destroy rockets and bases of terrorism. Lots of BAD PRESS from the uber-liberals, so to counter that, they need to remind Christians with GOOD PRESS of how this truly is a "Holy Land" (and thus all their attacks somehow justified)

    Wait and see. Probably in 5-10 years. :thumbs:
