I'm pretty familiar with the anatomy of the human body. Could you please explain where on or in the body we will find sexuality?

Well, we have these things called sexual organs which participate in the sexual act. We are driven by these things called hormones which influence our sexual behavior. We have a brain that reacts to certain stimuli which affects the rest of our sexual opperations. Like most parts of our body sexaulity is a combination of all sorts of different bodily functions. Which the end results is sex. The product of sex can often lead to offspring. Our instincts with regard to sex are writen on our DNA. We as human beings must submit all of it to God. But when God regereates the man he does the whole man body and spirit.

I've only read the first 40 or so posts, and the last few, but I have observed that people will (just like politics) misquote, speak for another, and twist actual words to push their own agenda!!!!

This is a pathetic thread for any seeker of truth to view, cause the love of Christ is conspicuous by it's absence.

Disagreement is fine, even expected and welcomed, but this mish-mash of attacks and lies (yes lies- just read what some are accused of saying and compare with the actual post :tear: ) and make your own comparison. (And, NO I am not going to wade through this thread again just to satisfy you!)

There were a few good points made, but they got buried by the negativity of a few.

    Bolded mine

This thread would never qualify for obedience to this verse!!!:tear:

Sex organs, brains, and hormones are not sexuality.

Again, I ask you, where in or on the body is the "sexuality".

And can you show any verse that says that Jesus died to redeem our sexuality?

And without my car, there is no exhaust, but that doesn't change the fact that exhaust is not a part of the car, but something the car produces.

No, I never stated that it is metaphysical. I merely said that it is not a part of the body.

Now, back to my questions: what part of the body contains "sexuality" and what verse in the Bible says that Jesus died to redeem our sexuality?

I agree and I apologize for my role in that.

It all has to do with our sexuality.
With out the body there is no sexuality. Any state of being is base on the mind which is operated by the brain. Sex is primarily driven by the interplay of the parts I've mention. Sexuality is how these bodily functions interact with regard to sex. Simple, and plain. You want to make sexuality metaphysical but its not. The closest you can come is how the brain interprets sexual stimulus. And from that what you think about it which is also an operation of the brain.

Good point, Amy. I guess we should stop this, lest we break that rule.
