Isn't it about time that KY fans got over Laettner's shot? It's only been 16 years.

No. Remember that the book on Kentucky losses is entitled "We Got Robbed."

No, I don't care for Duke all that much. UT has been trying to schedule a home and home with them in bball, and Duke refuses. Is that clucking I hear?

No Christian should support a team of Devils, blue or otherwise :).

    I can't stand Duke.

I lived in NC for 4 years. I am a Heels fan. That should speak volumes of what I think of Duke. ....nuff said.

I like Duke. They are the Notre Dame of Basketball: You either love 'em or hate 'em and no matter what their record is, they always get the benefit of the doubt in the rankings.

I was born in NC and grew up there. When I bacame aware of ACC basketball, David Thompson was playing for NC State, so I was a State fan. Hated Duke. Hated UNC.

Now that I have not lived in NC for 18 years, I always enjoy seeing the teams from NC do well. I am glad for the recovery of UNC basketball under Roy Willaims. After so many contending teams from Duke, they seem to have fallen into a pattern on getting close but not being able to take it all--kindof like UNC under Dean Smith. I really don't follow it like I used to and I don't feel the intensity of the rivalries like I did when I lived in NC.

I'm gonna' assume that this is somewhat directed at me. Let me say that I am long since over Laettner's shot that went in. I'm not necessarily over a bad coaching all, against the in-bounds play, and I definitely am not over Laettner's 'stepping' on Aminu Timberlake.

And actually, I can be persuaded to be a Duke fan in one situation, when Duke is playing Indiana.

I don't hate any other schools, but generally I highly dislike all of them when they are playing, in order, UK, other KY schools, then other SEC teams.

Go Cards! Go Hilltoppers! Go Vol -uh ... [Cough!] un-te... [Cough! Choke! Gag! Gasp!! Wheeze!! Wheeze!! Pant! Pant!] Sorry, folks! I really tried, but I just couldn't get that one out without choking!

Yes, I guess I'm a Duke fan - not a "Cameron Crazy" but a fan.

    2 reasons:
My mom was a HUGE Duke fan! I'm now a fan in her honor.
My pianist is a HUGE Duke fan (season ticket holder, etc.). If I don't make her happy, she might just leave! And she's a good pianist - we want to do all we can do to keep her.

I read something in Sports Illustrated thsi week where Christian Laetner (a bit tongue in cheek) said if he is driving through KY he still doesn't stop out of fear of being recognized.

And i voted "no" because i simply don't like Duke.
