Magnetic Poles said:Calling innocent children names over the sins of their parents isn't nice.

That is the worst thing I have read on the BB since I have been a member.
Edit your post IMMEDIATELY!!
NEVER resort to calling innocent children that "word"
Magnetic Poles said:There is no such thing as an "illegitimate" child, although some parents could certainly bear that label.
Bro. Curtis said:Yeah, you've been the epitome of nice, here, ain't you ? The word is legit, like it or not.
How's come nobody will answer my question ? If'n we regulate how many kids two parents, who can obviously support them without my help, can have, how come nobody wants to regulate the welfare moms ?
Agree. That number should be somewhere around less than 1.carpro said:I think we should regulate the number of illigitimate children they can receive funds for.
If one is able to convince others that a child is supposed to raise his or her younger siblings it frees the parents conscience of the fact that they are shirking responsibilities.
I Am Blessed 17 said:I respectfully disagree. It teaches the children how to raise their own families. This kind of teaching is commanded in the Bible. The older women are to teach the younger women and that's what these parents are doing. Plus, they are teaching their sons not to be slobs so their wives don't have to pick up after them all the time.
At least this family is paying it's own way.
We are all paying for the 'illegitimate welfare' babies, and they are most certainly not being reared in a Christian home... :tear:
Kudos to the Dugger family! Raising the next generation of devout Christians. :applause:
Also, the Word of God says 'Children obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.' It does not say 'Children obey your brothers and sisters...'
Bro. Williams said:Rufus: I dare say, you are a blessing on these boards. So often I come away wondering what people are thinking, only to realize they apparently aren't. I don't know if it lack of Bible study, solid preaching, or being conformed to this world, but it is astonishing some of the worldly themese and thoughts that are poured into this board from professing Christians. Thanks you brother, keep up the fight, amen to the posts.
4boys4joys said:Thank You Bro.Williams for the Biblical stand you are taking here and on so many threads in the BB. This statement sums up so much so what happens here. I too am astounded at some of the things I read. People actually professing to what rock bands they like or the use of condoms in reference to a lady first and foremost, and a sister in Christ to boot.
Thank you for not doing so, it has inspired me greatly. I pray my home schooled children hold to there convictions as you do. And if that means I have to start a cult, I guess I will. If we all truly lived biblically, people would think we were. Anyway...
Continue to be consistient and stand for the faith. Many blessings. :applause: :wavey:
Bro. Curtis said:It does say to respect your elders.
If a kid gets hurt & has to go to the hospital while dad's at work, why shouldn't the eldest be given the responsibility to assume temporary control ?
