Saturday afternoon, I went to my first college basketball game in person since 2001 or 2002. I had almost forgotten how exciting it is to watch in person instead of on TV. My boss got invited to watch in one of the luxury boxes and offered me his extra tickets. Even though I am primarily a Sooner fan, I have no problem calling the Hogs when they aren't playing OU. ;)

I know most here probably don't care about the Razorbacks except Joseph and KenH, but I thought I would share my experience anyway. The Razorbacks played a great game and even decided to play the 2nd half of this game instead of blowing their lead like some earlier games. :D Usually beating Vandy doesn't mean much, but this year they were ranked #22 and playing good.

This was also the first time I got to see the new scoreboard. It is awesome to get to see the dunks and big plays replayed like on TV. The crowd at Bud Walton Arena was loud and the team seemed to feed off of it. I think we were on our feet more than we were sitting down during the 2nd half.

Ronnie Brewer and Jonathan Modica both played great. The two Jones', Michael and Matt, also played good, especially on defense and rebounding. That was probably the best all-around game the team has played this year. Hopefully they will keep playing at that level or better the rest of the season. Go Hogs!!

And, don't forget the Band. I mean, yeah, their not the Arkansas Tech Band, but man, they are pretty good. Is this the beginning of the Razorback comeback under Heath. You know, I knew for years that things were headed this way under Richardson because he was getting burned out. But now, we've got a young, energetic coach who is doing a great job, especially in recruiting. I say, give them 3-4 years and they will once again, be a NCAA Championship team. Go HOGS GO!!!!!!!!!!!!
