attack of the trolls?

    As a forum leader I don't see many of the posts that are removed by diligent moderators who are on the ball, although I'm in here once every day. They are often removed the same day, and I applaud the quick actions of those who make short work of the offensive posts.

    In another Christian forum I deleted 8 of 14 vulgar (they went far beyond offensive) posts from one person, and the Administrator/owner of the site deleted the other 6. When I was criticized by the 16-year-old non-Christian assistant Administrator for doing that, I resigned as a moderator; I also told him and the Administrator why and that at my age I won't tolerate being unjustly criticized by a child.

    wow, that many, someone works here don't they.
    How do they register over and over, do they use a different email for each one or what. I can't see working on getting that many emails just so I could bombard some website.

    LOL This thread generated an ad selling Troll dolls!

    Roger is correct, these people are not members, they have just snuck through the first process. We delete them before they get through the second stage.

    I usually have 100+ to delete every morning and I MAY get 1 or 2 genuine apps out of that.

    They are all computer generated, so the people behind this aren't wasting their time....they're wasting MINE!

    If Andrew would upgrade the system, it would get rid of most, if not all, of these bots, but I asked him to please do that 6 months ago and it still hasn't been done.

    BTW, Squire has around 100+ to do each evening. That's 200 per day and it takes each of us 2-3 hours to get rid of them. That's 4-6 hours per day. This job is getting more time consuming. We need a raise!
