    Paul. It could only have been Paul.

    Paul did not include his name in the salutation simply because it was being written "To the Hebrews" and they considered him a traitor. They would not have bothered to read it if they knew he wrote it.

    It had to be Paul due to 10:34, "For you had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that you have in heaven a better and an enduring substance."

    Who else in the New Testament spent a lot of time in prison and the people sold their goods to give sacrificially to support him during that time?

    I think paul could have written it, or else someone like Luke could have penned it, and that it was Pauline authority behind it!
