I was browsing a facsimile copy of the AV1611 at The Salt Shaker Christian Bookstore in Wilmington NC. It was a reproduction of the original utilizing the original typeface, it had a hardback brown leather cover and seemed well constructed. I tried reading from it and found it to be quite laborious for any serious reading. Does any publisher print a copy of this Bible, in original spelling and with all margin notes, but in a modern/readable type face? Thanks, Bruce

Both Nelson company and Hendrickson company
produced a King James Version 1611 Edition
facimile. I had both of them and compared them
some, they look alike (except the cover) so
they were facimilies of the same KJV1611 Edition.
They both should be relatively inexpensive
    on the internet.

    Here is the Hindrickson:

Here is the Nelson (not inexpensive):

    Hi, Bruce!

If you are interested in a print that is easier to read, there is an online version of the 1611 KJV available at http://www.studylight.org and you select the font via your web browser!

It seems that the amazon.com links are for reproductions of the original typeface. Is this correct? I would also be interested in a modern typeface edition if it is available.

The 1611 reprints by Thomas Nelson and Hendrickson have the Roman type and not the original Gothic type.
