Avoid the trial ... if possible

I was talking with my sister last week. We were discussing health and wellness tips during the Impeachment trial. She plans to make snacks and serve hot herb tea. Also have lots of paper cups and plates on hand to avoid the clutter in the kitchen.

    Sounds like a plan.

My plan is to avoid the rhetoric as much as possible. The temp forecasts here are above freezing. That should allow plenty of walks with my dog -- who cares less about trial rhetoric -- more concerned with personal rhetoric toward the neighborhood dogs.

    What is your plan?

    • Walks
    • Snacks
    • Pull the plug on the television & Internet
    • Avoid the headlines
    • Work around the house
    • Start on last year's tax return
    • Shop to complete those wardrobe essentials
    • ???

I haven't watched any of it, but I try to keep abreast of the happenings by means of Rush Limbaugh. I rarely watch network news anymore, and tune in to only the first 15 minutes of local news.
I would hope that all the insanity generated by the Democrats would result in their loss of the house in November. They want witnesses and new "evidence" introduced in the senate trial as if in three years of digging they haven't had time to produce all of that.
