AWANA

Seems like a lot of us have been in AWANA
So tell us a lttile about your AWANA time
,
AS a Kid I started in AWANA in 1963 - 6th grade ( our church started the club in Feb )
at the Time 6th Grade -- Trail Blazer
----------------7th Grade - Ranger
----------------8th-11 grade - Shipmates - (Leaders in Training)
In the fall of 11th grade - the other kids got tired of all the work
and study we had to do - so the church voted to end Shipmates,
and decided to just have a social hour. I went once - and said hogwash
with this. I wanted to continue the study .... so I didnt even bother
going to the "social hour"

Several years later, when I was in Germany - a chapel in Frankfurt had
AWANA - and I took my kids there (2 hour drive)
Then I went to To ft Hood, Tx - and I started an AWANA program there

So, I have spent many years with the program.
