Premise: From a conservative standpoint the election of Senator McCain as president will do more harm than the election of Senator Obama or Senator Clinton because most conservatives would sit on their hands because a Republican was in the White House and not oppose a President McCain on issues such as the North American Union, the Amero, illegal immigration, etc.

A minor quote from a rather significant article, worth the read!
This is why, if there is a third party candidate who stands on and for the Constitution of the United States, as written by our founding fathers, and the government formed under it.... I will vote for that candidate. It is a matter of principal! It is a matter of responsibility and honesty before God and man.. in accordance to what I value most. As much as it is possible in me, I intend my vote to count for the voice of what I want in government.....not playing the odds based upon fear of what we might get.... if 'so and so' looses my vote..... I trust the outcome to God. To do otherwise is to play the devils' lottery and places me against the Holy one who made me.

This is 100% right on correct. By the same token, the dems will be so glad to have the house & senate & the White House, it's likely they won't keep a good eye on each other, either.

And for all who vote with one of the two major parties, IOW, voting with the popular vote either way.... will fail to distinguish themselves or their vote in such a way as to seem like agreement with the general direction in which both parties are leading us.

Now............. do I get anyone putting that in their pipe and smoking on it for a moment?

I haven't voted for either major party for the last two presidential elections.

Did my candidate win? Not even close.

Did I throw my vote away? Depends on your perspective. Me, I sleep easy at night, knowing that I voted for what I believe to be right, as opposed to being able to puff out my chest and proudly proclaim, "I voted for the lesser of two evils."

Yeah, Windcatcher, that smokes in that pipe real good. I'm with ya, man.

It means stepping into the line of fire. That's what it means. Not many people are going to be brave enough to take up that challenge.
