I visited a church Sunday that practices believer's baptism, but it wasn't by immersion as many traditional Baptists have performed. (Of course, it was not a baptist church, but... whatever.) I am interested in your thoughts....

Our church (Presbyterian) would fit this category. We practice "believer's baptism" as well, defined as "believers and their children." Often one thinks of only infants, but we have children and adults being baptized as well in our church. Typically the mode is by the pouring of the water.

I have heard the story that once when a man went to get baptized, the preacher told him to take his wallet out so it would not get wet, the candidate said " I'm leaving it in my pocket, cause my wallet needs to be baptised too! :saint:

I laughed when I read splattering a cup of water... I can see it now...

I now baptize you in the name of the Father, the Son, and Holy Ghost..Then you throw a cup of water in their face....lol

you get the gist from the bubbles.

The pattern of bubbles from "tithe" is considerably different from "you &^%$!@ preacher! When I get out of here I'm beating you up!"
