Baptist Believer Gets His Identity Back

    For some time it has been confusing to have Baptist Believer (voted 3 times for George Bush) and BaptistBeliever (has difficulty using the name of George Bush in polite conversation let alone voting for him) on the board.

    The BaptistBeliever who is a bit to the left of center (some just might say off) has changed his name to JustChristian to resolve the confusion. I've also made a pledge to attempt to raise the level of political discourse on the board along with a pledge by me to follow it irregardless of whether it's generally supported. I apologize for past indiscretions and pledge to change.

    I'm proud of you!

    While some folks get saved and there's an instant change in everything in which it seems everything is different: I think for many of us...... myself included, this growing in grace, or working out one's own salvation with fear and trembling (not to be confused with salvation by works.... but dealing with the inward self identitiy stubborness that continues to be resistant to the transforming power of God), or putting on the mind of Christ, is a continuing battle. So trusting in Him and believing that He has the power to complete us, we take up our cross daily, and walk with him, allowing His Spirit to move in us, sometimes with big adjustments, sometimes with small adjustments.... but learning to trust Him more as we move to that which he would have us become, and farther away from that which we were without Him. Perhaps there's a point of complete surrender which we think we have attained unto but still have not...... but are striving towards in faith and hope.
