As long as the Cowboys win I couldn't care less about whether the P-38 Lightnings win. :)

Like Tony Romo said after hanging 45 points on Giants about whether the offense will keep doing as well as that - sometimes you have to win 10-7.

I was just updating my lineup and deciding whose teams I thought would win this week and noticed that a few teams have some injured and inactive players in thier lineups

    Azul
    Marks
    Speedsters and Vast right wingers

Lovie Smith is sticking with Rex Grossman. This is:

    a) Admirable, because Lovie isn't kicking Grossman when he's down.

    b) Indicative that Lovie needs some glasses, as he's clearly blinded to the fact that Grossman is killing the Bears.

    c) Proof positive that Rex has some pictures of somebody in a compromising position, because I can't imagine why he's still keeping his job after last night's fiasco.

    d) None of the above. Insert your reason here.

    e) All of the above.

It's gonna be a long season.

I am not going to say that Grossman played well last night.

However, to put all the blame on him is ridiculous IMO. The entire offense has stunk this year. Benson looks lost. The offensive line couldnt block a high school team.

The defense held strong for awhile last night but then injuries and being on the field so much just wore them down and the Cowboys took over.

The Cowboys definitely look like the best team in the NFC so far. But this is the NFL and things change quickly. It is a long season.

Perhaps, but the offense takes its cue from the QB. If the QB isn't playing well, then the offense has no hope of playing well.

I have said and will say that Rex cannot lead the Bears to a Lombardi Trophy. However, Rex isn't dropping passes, missing blocks, and playing defense. The NFL is upside down right now in many ways.

    The cowboys played great -
Romo is an incredible find for Dallas - its hard to believe that a guy lile him can go undrafted. You would think that being from wisconsin and playing college ball in Illinios - at a D2 school that the the pack, bears or colts would have known about him. Garrett has been calling the plays and the coach is letting he an Romo spread thier wings a bit, I dont think that would have happened under the big magnificnet Tuna.

I am nervous this week with the Rams coming to town - the boys pass d has been suspect at best - although with the rams losing thier number 1 ground threat, the boys will be able to blitz a bit more.

On the subject of Rex - he played well in the first half - if Berrian had not dropped a sure TD, who knows how the game might have turned out. Of course, crayton dropped a sure td as well, so I guess it was even. Once the bears fell behind and their running game was nonexistent, it put more pressure on Rex than he is capable of standing.

By the way, talk radio in Dallas LOVES them some ROMO! Wait until he throws three ints in a game...

Tator, this is highly amusing considering you played fantasy baseball last year.

Although, considering where you finished, maybe I should put played in quotes, as in, "you "played" fantasy baseball." :tongue3:
