Baptist churches in Ft Worth?

    My son and I just led a lady to Christ on Facebook. (AMEN!!) She just moved to Ft Worth, and I need someone to give me a list of GOOD friendly Bible-preaching churches in the Ft Worth area....asap!! I Need to
    get her into the hands of some mentoring Christians!!

    Fort Worth is pretty big.

    However, I am familiar with and would recommend

    Pastor is Terry Kizer- a faithful and good man.

    If that is not convenient I know of some other good ones around the area. Let me know.

    thank you brother!!! I will collect a list from my various sources and give it to her. She is needing to be mentored right away!! I might even call the Pastor myself to get him to contact her.

    I am sure that Pastor Kizer would be more than glad to help. He was a supporting pastor when we were missionaries and he is a humble, gracious and godly man. Don't tell him I said that, though or he'll get a big head. :laugh:

    We are a good, friendly, Bible-preaching church in Fort Worth, but we are not at all an IFB-style church, which I'm guessing is what you're really looking for based on your profile.

    However, we are very independent, we believe the scriptures, and we embrace historic Baptist principles. And we are not well loved by the SBC (although we do provide some support) because of our independent streak.

    Baptist believer, what is the church address? I am sending her all the churches that people respond with and letting her make her own choice. I bought her a KJV Bible and shipped it to her last night via the internet.

    My son was at Southcliff (in Ft. Worth) when he was in seminary and I always enjoyed it when I was there. It's a pretty big church.

    He's at a much smaller church right outside of Ft Worth. First Baptist Bridgeport if she'd like to go there.

    When I lived in Fort Worth, I attended FBC Benbrook. They had a church plant out their way... Trinity Hills. Worth a look see.

    Thank you all!! She received her Bible that I bought her yesterday. I told her to read the book of John first.
