    Is there anyone who attended the BCNY in Syracuse:

    Are there other members here on BB that are a member of a bcny

    The convention wants to re- name this organization as the Northeast Baptist Network

    What do you think of the such a name?

    As a result of the SBC conservative resurgence, it seems that changing names of everything for the mere sake of change has become the new model, even as overall membership rates continue to decline.

    The "Resurgence" was the result of the late 80s and 90s. The Neo-Cal Critical Race and Social Justice movement is a result of the revolution begun 2005 and beyond, particularly during the past decade, apparently intent on overthrowing the gains made under the "Resurgence".
