I would like to invite everyone to the Baptist Heritage Conference at Ambassador Baptist College in Lattimore, NC. It will be held Sptember 13-15. The speakers are David Baughan - Pratt, WV, David Cummins - deputation director of Baptist World Mission, and Bob Dalton - professor at Crown College, Powell, TN. YOu can request a brochure by calling 704-434-0303 or emailing [email protected].

It would be a great way to learn about your Baptist heritage!

Right. Will there be any discussion of Spurgeon's theology, or Gill, or Pink, or Carroll, or Dagg, or Boyce, or Carey, or Williams, or Keach, or Bunyan, or Fuller, or Graves; or any mention of the confessions of 1644 or 1689, or the historical setting behind the New Hampshire confession, or the underlying theology of the liberal faction that attempted to destroy biblicism? Or will they present our heritage as having its beginnings with Norris, Vick, Rice, and Hyles?

As Dr. Cummins is involved, the meeting will have a Historic Northern Baptist flavor to it.

    JD,

It will certainly be dealing with things before Norris, Hyles, etc.
