    Calm down please, Frenchy.

    Every time I see your name, by the way, I'm reminded of a scene in the movie "Murder By Death" where Sam Diamond (Peter Faulk) calls Monsieur Perrier' (James Coco) "Frenchy." Perrier' looks at him and says, "I'm not a Frenchy! I'm a Belgie!"

    So, I start one over on the open forums...

    And, pretty near immediately it gets hijacked with abuse!

    I really don't care who started it...

    But, as of now I am asking Admin and Moderators to Close It...

    Music in the Ministry should be pleasing to God rather than pleasing to the flesh. If the music being played (once lyrics are removed) is no different than the music that is played in the world, the music is appealing to the flesh and is not of God.

    That being said, one cannot compromise by mixing the gospel with the worldly music and still call it gospel. A little poison will poison the whole glass of water.

    As in all the other threads, you have not even attempted to prove which style "feeds the flesh", and which is "godly". The hymns are done in the same style "the world" played a century or two ago. That was not the Kingdom of God then, so you can't say God was "pleased" only with that, while everything else is "of the world". And you'r whole premise on "the flesh" is based upon equating it with all pleasure, which others have challenged in the other threads.
