Baptists' concern, $$$ directed at English-speaking Christians living in border community:

Baptists: Border Town Needs An English-Speaking Church

"A new church with services in English is in the works for San Luis....the First Baptist Church of Phoenix Foundation has provided $13,500...to support a new church plant in San Luis."

"Once open, officials say it will be the only English-speaking Christian church in San Luis. Currently, English-speaking Christians in the San Luis area have to drive to Yuma for services."
