Didn't I reference Senator Obama's foreign policy? He and Congressman Paul both want to bring our troops out of the Iraq quagmire and both want to restore America's image throughout the world.

I predict that Senator Obama's speech will be read in classrooms for decades to come as it will rank as one of the greastest in U.S. political history.

Senator Obama proved today that he can handle a crisis, that he can answer the 3:00 a.m. phone call that Senator Clinton has talked about.

And yet he and Mrs. Bill Clinton refused to committ to that in one of the debates. Promises made will never be kept. He doesn't have the nerve to pull the troops out.

I predict that if Obama does become President that the troops will not come home. That would be the stupidist thing that Obama could ever do. (I could be wrong.) He was stupid enough to think that he could sit under the teaching of a racist preacher and not be called on the rug for it. Of course I'm white and I just don't understand the black church experience.

Man talk about going over the top.....

All he proved today was that he can play the political game and lie in a smooth and charismatic way to try and do damage control.

I don't think he lied. I also don't think you should make such accusations!

It is obvious to anyone who has watched or read the speech that Senator Obama didn't lie, dragonfly. You are spot on.

You are correct, websdog. I should have written, "It is obvious to anyone with good sense who has watched or read the speech that Senator Obama didn't lie". :)

....so does Hillary. But Hill and Barack want to do it for different reasons than Dr. Paul. He'd bring our troops home from everywhere.

I agree that Obama's speech was a rhetorical gem. I don't know if a speech proves he can answer a 3 a.m. phone call, but a good speech nonetheless. No question Obama is the best speaker in the campaign.

Alert: Pot calls kettle black! (Anyone supporting McCain is morally confused, he wants to continue this failed war in Iraq which will cause the death of more of our soldiers.)

Yes, keep up those talking points! However, when even the UN admits progress in Iraq, the failed-war position just gets more and more wobbly.

Steffan de Mistura, the UN's envoy in Bhagdad told the Security Council in January that, "We cannot ignore the recent improvements both in the security and political situation in Iraq."

"The notable decline in hostile activities can be credited to the cumulative effect of increased deployment of MNF-I troops, the ceasefire declared by Muqtada al–Sadr,...the role of the Awakening Councils and increased cooperation with neighbours on security-related issues."

Yes, and that is what concerns me about Senator McCain as is around 19 years older than me.
