Barr and Sanctity of Life

    Someone asked about Barr's position on Sanctity of Life issues. I couldn't find anything on his website http://www.bobbarr2008.com/home/skip/?s=0618

    Is this being missed or is he having to jettison his pro-life stance (at least vocally) to be the libertarian nominee?

    I don't think he as jettisoned it, but it is simply not talking about it because his position is somewhat at odds with the LP platform:

    1.4 Abortion
    Recognizing that abortion is a sensitive issue and that people can hold good-faith views on all sides, we believe that government should be kept out of the matter, leaving the question to each person for their conscientious consideration.
