Baseball Pipeline

    The Astros used to rank at or near the top that list when they were rebuilding from scratch in the first half of the 2010s. Now they are established and bring up players as needed to fill a spot here or there, such as the World Series MVP, Jeremy Pena, who they brought up to replace Carlos Correa.

    Back around 2013-2014 when the Astros were rebuilding from scratch I would listen to the Astros game and then listen to the Lancaster JetHawks in the California League, the Astros' Advanced A team at that time.

    The Lancaster team became an affiliate of the Colorado Rockies in 2017 and then folded after MLB reorganized minor league baseball in 2020.
