Baseball

I couldn't figure out why the baseball kept getting bigger. Then it hit me.

 

I can relate to this. I was sitting in the right field seats in the Astrodome in the 1970s and Mike Lum, a left-handed batter, was batting for the Atlanta Braves. He hammered a ball toward right field and it kept rising and rising and rising, and getting bigger and bigger and bigger - and it finally dawned on me that the ball was heading toward me. It actually ended up landing in the same row I was sitting on but several seats to my left. A fella tried to catch it but it had so much backspin on it that it spun out of his hands and landed at his feet.
