I won't hold it against you :D ! I just think that Christians need to beware of taking there doctrine from it. There is a small element of truth in it which nicely wraps up a lot of error. Like you mentioned, the Jews have faith in God; so do Musslims, Mormons, JW's, and Catholics. The show promotes eccumenicalism and very subtily, the worship of angels. Della Reese is a "minister" in her own church. She very much uses the program to promote her own religious beliefs.

``You know what's right and wrong,'' the Rev. Reese says. ``You may not want to do what you know is right. You may prefer to do wrong. A thief doesn't steal because he doesn't know right from wrong. There's a thrill, a joy in him doing that.''

But she adds that if you listen, God - or Christ, or Allah, or Buddha - ``will tell you're not right. Absolutely. `Don't do this.' You'll hear it ring in your body.''

    Sorry Della,

But Buddha is dead and is not going to tell you anything of substance. She is obviously not a Christian minister from her statements.

I helped a friend move once and she took olive oil and spread it over all of the door frames and blessed the house.

She also "pleaded the blood of Jesus" and cast demons out of the house.

The whole thing smacked of superstition and I was disappointed because she went to a church that should have taught her better.

She and some of my other friends around that time were really into "binding and loosing" spirits and some of them eventually got caught up the WOF movement.

I'm trying to track down a copy of "Spiritual Warfare in the Life of the Believer" by C.H. Spurgeon to give to another friend.

I would highly recomend it as a commentary on spiritual warfare.
