    I don't know about the "being smarter" part.

    OTOH, I always tend to get a little suspicious of a person or group when they steadfastly resist and/or blantanly oppose anyone who would dare question the bases of their position on whatever the issue may be.

    If their position on "whatever" is a valid, logical one, why then do they tend to completely squelch any indpendent analysis or evaluation of their position on "whatever"?

    It's as if they are telling us, "I'm right about this because I said that I'm right about this, and how dare you to even suggest that there may be another way of approaching the issue other than what I believe about it!!"

    So that's where some of our legalistic leaning brethern went. I won't mention names but in my short time here there have been some doosies. Or did they go to BaptistCrackPots.com?
