    Umm, it's a message board. I was fertilizing my flowers. Be patient. Sometimes I don't log in for days. LOL But school is out, so I'm free and here I am.

    Sure, I'll give an example.

    My husband is retired military. He is qualified for more than minimum wage jobs, but the economy doesn't allow it.

    It took a while for him to find employment and when he did, they started him at minimum wage.

    It really helps us out. If he made less than minimum, we'd have less money to support our kids and we'd be better off if we both quit our jobs and went on welfare.

    I'm glad there's a minimum they're allowed to pay. We could STILL probably both quit and go on welfare and get away with it, but it's not a choice we'd prefer. I've been there and enjoy the feeling of making my own way a whole lot more.
