    Yep, $1,017,071,524,650.01 to be exact. The way I see it Ken deserves an apology and Carpro owes us proof of;

    You are both wrong.

    It's hard to believe that there are two people at the same time , in the same thread, who don't know the difference betweeen an "annual budget deficit" and accumulated "national debt", but it seems it is so.

    The only thing KenH is owed is an education and he owes it to himself. He is apparently beyond my help.

    Until you educate yourselves enough to know the difference, any reasonably educated person's effort is wasted.

    I am truly amazed!:eek:

    Not even a good try, what Ken showed was The Public Debt which is the National Debt.

    Don't hold your breath, LeBuick. Maybe he has and I missed it or don't recall it, but I don't know of a single time when carpro has ever admitted that he is wrong when it has been proven that he is wrong - as he clearly is in this case.

    It is clear, LeBuick, as you pointed out that the numbers show that the federal government spent more than $1 trillion more than it received in revenue in fiscal year 2008. The fact is inescapable regardless of how many time carpro says it isn't so.

    Yep, it has to be a bitter pill to learn the deficit goes up consistently more on the GOP less government (to include hero Reagan) watch than it does under the big Government, Liberal, tax and spending Democrats. I was also surprised to learn the Savings and Loans and the Market crashed under Reagan and now Bush.

    I think it has to do with encouraging greed and turning a blind eye to corporate robbery at the top end with the cost being the workers who are the foundation. I don't like to see a CEO forced to do right with Government regulation but it appears when we remove the regulation we fail. Reagan removed it and we got the savings and loans scandal along with the market crash of 87. Bush removed it and you see what we have today.

    Bush, Reid, Pelosi, Obama, and their ilk have given us an enormous deficit and they promise to do more.

    There, I offended all of you. Let the hacks start hacking. :laugh:

    So what?

    His source doesn't even mention annual budget deficits.

    This is all really sort of funny.

    A statement is made that is clearly false and a source to prove the lie is posted that has nothing to do with the subject and you fall right in line. Hillarious. At least , that helps explain your support of Obama.

    I don't apologize for the lies of other people. I'm not sure what your support of the lie means, ignorance or just another lie?

    That being the case, this discussion is over. Either way.
