Beto standing for same-sex marriage

    In 2011, Beto rebuked a Catholic priest in the El Paso City Council because the priest opposed same-sex marriage. Beto said that the Catholic Church had no authority in this issue. The following week another member of the City Council tried to rebuke Beto for his rudeness but the Mayor of El Paso cut off her microphone and told her to take her free speech outside the building.

    ORourke is a far left wacko. Can't be elected for statewide office in Texas. No matter how much out of state money he pulls in.

    Cruz is going to stomp him.

    What is the matter with that guy? Does this fake Hispanic really think his views are popular in Texas???

    And a criminal record to boot - saw some of a debate he had with Cruz, Cruz just cleaned his clock. Not stopping Hollyweird into throwing tons of money at him. he might have a chance of winning if he ran in that state. Some Texans told me "Beto" was just using this to launch himself into a national political career, but badly losing an election isn't going to cut it.

    Apparently. Leftists like him are always delusional. They have to be. It comes with the territory.

    His comments about the Catholic Church may cost him a lot of hispanic votes.
